- A single commit that was saved in the history
- A cloud server that stores the code of a company
- A text editor that is used to write the code
Answer
The project folder tracked by Git, with all its files and their history
Why
GitHub's docs: a repository, or Git project, encompasses the entire collection of files and folders associated with a project, along with each file's revision history.
You get one by running git init in a folder, or by copying an existing one with git clone <url>.
The local repository and the remote one (for example on GitHub) are separate copies that you synchronize.
Remember
Repo = project + its full history.
