What does CSS control in a web page?
Options
- The look: colors, fonts, spacing and layout (Correct option)
- The connection to the database of the website
- Which server answers the request of the browser
- The login system of the site and its users
Answer
The presentation: colors, fonts, spacing and layout
Why
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a language of style rules applied to HTML.
Example: p { color: blue; font-size: 18px; } makes every paragraph blue and bigger.
Without CSS, a page still works but looks plain. With a different CSS file, the same HTML can look completely different.
Remember
CSS = how the page looks.
