Which three metrics are Google's Core Web Vitals today?

Options

1. TTFB, FCP, TTI
2. LCP, INP, CLS (Correct option)
3. FID, LCP, TBT
4. Speed Index, FCP, CLS

Answer

LCP, INP, CLS

Why

• LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): how quickly the main content appears. Loading.
• INP (Interaction to Next Paint): how quickly the page responds to clicks and taps. Responsiveness; it replaced FID in 2024.
• CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift): how much the layout jumps around while loading. Visual stability.

They affect user experience and Google search ranking.

Remember

LCP = load, INP = respond, CLS = stability.
